  I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at New Orient Landmark Hotel for my first trip to Macau, and I feel compelled to share my frustrating experience with you all. I made a simple mistake while making the reservation - accidentally typed in the wrong name as the room’s lead guest. When I realized this and reached out to both the hotel and Agoda to address the issue, I was met with an astonishing lack of flexibility and understanding. Despite the tremendous efforts spent on explaining the situation and even providing documentation to prove my identity, both the hotel and Agoda remained unyielding, insisting that none of the reservation information submitted could be changed. I was at a loss for what to do, as this means it is impossible for me to check in to the hotel on the designated date. As a result, I ended up losing nearly USD 200 for a room I would never be able to use. This experience has left me feeling incredibly frustrated, disappointed, and frankly, angry. I understand the need for security measure, but I believe there should be some level of compassion and understanding for honest mistakes. The unwillingness to assist and lack of alternatives to handle my case speaks volumes about their true priorities and values. What's even more disheartening is that this was supposed to be my first trip to Macau—a trip that I had been eagerly anticipating for months. Instead of enjoying the excitement and attractions Macau has to offer, my trip was marred by this terrible experience with New Orient Landmark Hotel. The stress and disappointment caused by their rigid policies and poor customer service have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking a stay there, especially when planning a special trip to Macau. Their policies leave no room for error, and their customer service fails to provide understanding or assistance when needed. A hotel stay should be a pleasant experience, but my interaction with this property has unfortunately been nothing short of disastrous.

  Stayed here in August and super happy with the room I booked. The size of the room is massive and I love love love the bathtub. I enjoyed the serviced sauna,spa, jacuzzi and swimming pool facilities too. Staffs are very friendly. I even had dimsum breakfast in this hotel which was yummy - too bad it wasn't part of the room booking. The bad part is that they no longer have airport transfer as I was informed that the owner of the hotel has changed and they haven't settled an agreement with bus operators for this airport transfer. The hotel really need to update their website to stop more disappointed customer.

  The hygiene was so so the pillow is too soft and the room is old. The staffs was all since like 'cool' (can understand maybe they everyday need to facing with the unfriendly guests saw from my eyes some guests really impolite) except the security guards at 6 floors are the only staffs was nice to the guests.

  So so, room is big but also clearly old, its clean, but in a 2 night stay we had a repair guy by the room 3 times (lamp, bathtub, aircon) the last they never really fixed :s, the first impression of the lobby is really good, not quite so good when you get deeper in to the hotel, it small musty with a hint of cigarettes. Can't really compare it with other hotels in Macau since it's the only place I've stayed so far, but I will most likely try another hotel next time

  I booked 2 rooms for my family, At first, the check in time delayed. We arrived the hotel about 2:30pm. They told me there is a room is not ready and the staff said the room will be ready at 3:30pm. So I ask my mom who is about 60 years old lady at stay at gym room to wait. Finally , the room was ready about 4:15pm Secondly. When we had a lunch at the restaurant at 1/F, there was a waitress who called IVY. She ate melon seeds in front of us and made the disgusting eating noises. It’s 5 stars hotel, This is not acceptable. Right!? Thirdly, I understand that it’s really hard to get a taxi at Macau. So we asked the staffs at the front door guy to assist us, i don’t remember his name but he looked like a guard. He was not polite and look so impatient, he just wanted us to go away ASAP. Fourthly, the room was smelly, I found a dirt on the bed sheet, it’s black colour and look like mould and the bed and the pillows were very very very soft. Made my wife and I got back pain. It’s 5 stars hotel and 5 stars charges but it’s No star services, No star staffs quality, not worth to be 5 stars!! Very bad experience!!
