::I Leng Teng (also known locally as Ka Sin Temple) is one of the several small traditional Chinese temples that can be visited in Taipa Village. This one is located along Rua Direita Carlose Eugenio and is one of the inclusions of the MGTO sponsored - Bygone Days of Taipa Village heritage walking trail. Built in 1900, I Leng Teng is dedicated to the God of Sacred Doctors. Architecturally, the temple is typical of others you will have seen around Macau from the period, being built of grey brick. The facade includes Chinese characters above the door as well as scenic mural below the roof. Inside you will see a patio style chamber. Natural light filters in and lights up the room, where you see hanging incense coils and a shrine in back with a statue of the God 'I Leng'. Have a quick look at the cast bell on the right hand side of the chamber room as well. In the end, you can have a quick look inside I Leng Teng Temple while exploring the streets of Taipa. It can be conveniently seen in just a few minutes before moving onward to see other attractions included on the Bygone Days of Taipa Village heritage trail. Note: If you have limited time you may prefer to visit Pak Tai Temple on the other side of Taipa. It is a larger and more interesting temple to experience in this area of Macau.
