::Not recommended unless you speak Chinese. Many staff can't speak any English. The front desk and Filipino staff are nice. But otherwise, staff such as in the restaurant and fitness Centre etc. can't speak ANY English and it's a real pain trying to do anything. I ask a question in the pool entrance and the staff guy looked up from his phone said something in chinese and goes straight to playing on wechat and not even trying to help. I can't believe a supposed 5 star hotel would employ people with such terrible customer service atitude and no language ability. I also ask a simple question to the lady at the restaurant entrance and she replied something to me in Chinese and walked off. The room itself is nice enough, but the hotel needs to review its staffing. Again, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, and yet there are so many people out there who could do these customer service jobs better than some of the people working there. Overall, a very frustrating experience and I've never experienced this in any other hotel I've stayed at around the world. A few other points for improvement: the entrance hall had a very strong unpleasant smell of air freshener, which is similar to cheap lynx deodorant. The wifi signal is also weak.

::Overall a good hotel considering it's price range...the staff were friendly and welcoming. Except for one receptionist (benson), he always seemed to be troubled and indifferent to customers. Takes away the excitement of staying in this beautiful hotel.

::hotel is old and facilities are old and run down. top floor suite is almost similar to the most ordinary room in other hotel. located at the old portion of Macau and not short of food options around. a small hill nearby good for running. service is barely adequate given most staffs speaks Mandarin and little English.

::I stayed in the Superior King room for the night. Spacious and clean. My room was a bit cold but I didn't know how to control the temperature. No problems with comfort. Staff are nice. It's a popular hotel as I noticed lots of check ins. I arrived here from HK from the Outer Harbour Ferry. There is a shuttle bus to and from hotel to this harbour but its limited 3 scheduled trips a day. There's plenty of shuttle buses to and from the Border Gate for the mainland and none to Taipa. What I did when I arrived I took the free shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Hotel and then walked the rest of the way (roughly 14 mins). There is an iconic photo spot outside this hotel against Grand Lisboa. A few attractions and bars nearby. It's also roughly 10-15 mins walk to Senado Square.

::Despite the hotel is seems old. I would appreciate the hospitality. The staff was very friendly, they allow us to keep our baggage on the concierge and assist to keep the bag. Kuddos to Mr. SKY for help me check in fast. The room is spacious and full of aminities. The bathroom also spacious (no bidet). Bed and pillow confortable. The facility : wifi good. Pool ok, and gym not big but enough and clean. The hotel is well maintained, close to old tourist spot. Next to the hotel there is a park and 7eleven.
