::The G32 Gallery (free admission) is a little attraction located in the St. Lazarus district of Macau. Here you can find a restored residential property, furnished with 1960's decor and items, depicting the live of a local Macanese inhabitant from that time period. After decades of neglect and disrepair, this building became unsuitable for habitation in 2011. This is when the St. Lazarus Parish Creative Industry group took over this property and restored it, adding original period furniture and household items, some of which had been left here when the property was abandoned. There are two upstairs rooms, which have been refurbished. There is also a ground floor room, which has some interesting merchandise created by local artists. Unfortunately, the G32 Gallery has limited opening hours, Saturday and Sunday 2.30-5pm, at this time. Hopefully this will change in the future as more and more visitors discover this area of Macau. Overall, the G32 Gallery project is a respectful effort to restore and maintain Macau's past and heritage in this beautiful and infrequently visited area of the city. It is well worth stopping by if you are visiting the area on a weekend.
